Board of Selectmen Public Hearing – August 25, 2014

The Amherst Board of Selectmen, in accordance with RSA 31:95-b: III (a), hereby announces to the citizens of Amherst the convening of a Public Hearing to accept unanticipated revenue in the form of a FEMA grant.

Assistance to Firefighter Grant (AFG) in the amount of $308,750 with a $16,250 town funded match for a total approved project of $325,000 for a purchase of a Pumper (Fire Engine).

The Public Hearing will take place at the Town Hall, 2 Main Street, at the Town Hall, 2 Main Street, at 6:30 PM on August 25, 2014. Any resident who wishes to speak on this matter is invited to attend.
