PMEC Always Needs Volunteers

Here are Some Ways You Can Help

Are you looking for a way to give back to the community? The PMEC is in need of volunteers to help with a variety of duties. If you have any questions or if you would like to volunteer, please send an e-mail to clane@amherstnh.gov or call us at 603-673-1141 or 603-673-6248.

  1. PMEC Volunteers: We are in need of volunteers interested in renting snowshoes, setting up refreshments, greeting PMEC guests, and showing folks around our building. No environmental or teaching skills required.
  2. PMEC Hartshorn Summer Program Volunteers: High school student volunteers are needed for our Hartshorn Summer session. Visit www.amherstrec.org to see what opportunities are available
  3. PMEC Docents: We’re looking for nature-loving volunteers interested in assisting with school programs, leading hikes, and presenting at various programs.
  4. PMEC Gardeners: We’re always in need of folks to help us keep our gardens and grounds maintained. Activities include garden planning, weeding, raking, planting, trimming, etc.
